We adopted Gregoire's motto and changed it slightly:
"Crushed rock is the foundation upon which we build our FieldTurf."
- Jones Brothers

"All other turfs are spineless" - Jones Brothers

Always striving for perfection, FieldTurf presents the DuraSpine Monofilament Turf System. The DuraSpine monofilament fiber is based on similar structures found in nature. The arched profile features a durable "spine" which runs vertically through the center of each fiber. Like the center stem or vein on a blade of grass, this spine gives each fiber unmatched "memory" and thus resistance to matting. This natural shape delivers unmatched durability and is far more resistant to UV and foot traffic, the two main enemies of any turf system. Competitor's grass blades are flat, like a ribbon or piece of paper. And we all know that when paper is folded over it tends to stay folded over.

"Good for paper, but who wants a folded over looking lawn?" - Jones Brothers

Unlike other synthetic turf on the market, DuraSpine is not abrasive to players but silky and lush just like nature intended. Say goodbye to rugburns!

The DuraSpine Monofilament Turf System is available in a Seahawk green (exact same turf as in Seahawk Stadium) or multicolored green, as well as in over 20 other colors. Seahawk green looks like a professional fertilized lawn, whereas the multicolored green looks more natural. FieldTurf can also produce DuraSpine in custom colors to match any logo requirements.

"Animals can pee on FieldTurf, but humans shouldn't." - Jones Brothers

DuraSpine drainage is superior to all of the other competitors products. With our product, liquids are able to drain through the turf system, whereas with our competitors, liquids can only drain through a hole that has been burned into the backing in order to drain. As one of our customers mentioned, "I don't want my dog's pee to stay in the turf cause he didn't go where there was a hole for it to drain!" We couldn't agree more. Additionally the sand or rubber in the turf will settle in those burned holes and can affect the turf's ability to drain properly.

The fiber may be new, but the patented sand and rubber infill system remains the same - a proven success in over 2500 installations worldwide.

The installation process goes through a number of steps:

  1. We remove and legally dispose of approximately 6 inches of existing soil/sod.
  2. We then import approximately 4 inches of crushed rock and compact it. The crushed rock creates a very stable foundation yet also provides for excellent drainage.
  3. The third step is we lay out the FieldTurf (it comes in rolls that are 15' wide and 125' long).
  4. The final step is infilling the turf with the patented sand and rubber infill mix.
